What I'm currently up to

Last updated: April 2026 — DFW, TX

Work

Hardware validation engineer at Texas Instruments, working on test development and silicon bring-up for leading-edge products. Currently deep in root cause analysis on a test correlation issue across two process nodes.

Homelab

Expanding the rack with additional storage and finishing the migration from bare-metal services to Proxmox VMs. The PDU monitoring system is mostly functional — I'm adding per-outlet cost tracking before writing it up as a blog post.

Side Projects

Wrapping up a custom DIN-rail relay driver PCB. First article revision came back from fab — fixing a footprint mismatch on the isolated I/O section before sending the second revision.

Also working through the whole-home power monitoring setup. CT sensors are installed; waiting on the ESPHome integration to stabilize before going further.

Writing

Working on the first real technical post for this blog — the PDU monitoring writeup. Hoping to publish it alongside the open-source code once the feature set is solid.
